Ephesians 4:11-12 (NKJV) 11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

Dear Friends, allow me to share a thought with you. When Jesus was on earth [flesh and blood] the recognized, established religious system functioned from the temple. The recognized “church” was meeting in the Temple. The recognized leaders were functioning from the Temple. Jesus and His apostles were functioning outside of the Temple [though there are times he has ministered in the synagogue and the Temple premises.

John 18:20 (NKJV) 20 Jesus answered him, “I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where the Jews always meet, and in secret I have said nothing.

The Pharisees [the Pastors of Jesus time] did not recognize Jesus and His ministry. They looked down upon Him and in fact they said He was doing ministry through the power of Satan.

Matthew 12:24 (NKJV) 24 Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”

The Pharisees felt Jesus was not a man of God and they rejected Jesus.

John 9:16 (NKJV) 16 Therefore some of the Pharisees said, “This Man is not from God, because He does not keep the Sabbath.” Others said, “How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?” And there was a division among them.

Matthew 21:42 (NKJV) 42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?

Luke 6:22 (NKJV) 22 Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they exclude you, And revile you, and cast out your name as evil, For the Son of Man’s sake.

John 15:18-20 (NKJV) 18 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. 20 Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.

Friends, if you are hated and rejected by the “super pastors” do not be discouraged because they did it to our Lord Jesus first. They reject and look down upon you because they rejected Jesus first. If you are not included in the elite group of the “super pastors” do not worry. You are in the Team of God. The elite group of “super pastors” might ignore you and side line you hoping that you and your ministry will die off but you be strong and courageous- God, who called you is faithful He will uphold you in His Right hand and protect, provide and guide you. Your names might not appear in the magazine of man but your names will appear in the magazine of God. Be strong and courageous and continue to do the work of God. He is with you and will provide for you. All that is needed from you is that you remain in HIM and he will work in you and through you. It does not matter whether the “super pastors” recognize you but it is important that God recognize you.

During Jesus ministry on earth, finances of the Old Testament Church were put into the Temple treasury [store house]. All the finances were given for the welfare of the Pharisees and Religious Leaders functioning from the Temple [Pastors and Theologians of Jesus time]. They should have accepted Jesus and His apostles as God’s servants and taken care of them BUT they did not.

God moved some women to take care of Jesus and His apostles.

Mark 15:41 (NKJV) who also followed Him and ministered to Him when He was in Galilee, and many other women who came up with Him to Jerusalem.

Luke 8:3 (NKJV) and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others who provided for Him from their substance.

In the old days God used man like Obadiah to take care of His prophets and ravens to feed His Prophet. The same God will take care of your needs.

Be strong and courageous and speak the truth, do not hold back. Speak up for those who cannot speak.

In His Majesty’s Service
