Every year He has been extending our borders so that we can bring the Truth that we have received and impart into the up building of church leaders. We thank those who are praying for us faithfully. In the midst of the financial crisis that has hit the Nations there are local churches that has given in to that pressure But I thank God for those who have faithfully and consistently stood by the side of us with their financial support which has helped us to live and travel and minister. May God bless them according to what they have done and according to His character. On the 28/5/2012 Sri Lanka opened its door and I thank God for the woman of peace [Nimali –YWAM leader] who was willing to come to the airport to fetch me and house me in her base and feed me. The next day I traveled to Kandy by train [central of Sri Lanka up on the hills] together with a YWAM team [ 2 men and 8 women (7 nations) from Kona –Hawaii] and was there for 3 days ministering to the church in Pellekele, Hirasagala and Hantana that met in houses seeing at least 1 woman in her late 70’s [blind for 25 years] receiving her sight back. On 1/6/2012 traveled back to Colombo by train [ train broke down –3 hours trip became 4hours trip] with the help of Roshan [ a minister from Kandy] accompanying me. Had the privilege and joy of staying with Pr. Mendis and family and knowing his passion and work. He has 65 churches in Sri Lanka and overseas totaling 125000 members [according to his report]. I ministered in 3 congregations on Sat [1 service] and Sun [2 services] with his sons interpreting for me. Please pray for coming ministry Semerang –Indonesia [12/6 to 18/6/2012] 13/6 -Leadership Training -2 sessions in the morning and 1 session in the evening 14/6 -3 sessions in the morning for Pastors Fellowship [3½ hours from Semerang] -50 leaders expected. 15/6 -in the morning for Pastors Fellowship [1½ from Semerang] 100 leaders are expected. 15/6 -Leadership training continued in Semerang from 6 to 8pm. 16/6 -Leadership training continued in Semerang from 8.30am to 12.30pm 17/6 -Sunday service 7.30am to 10am -in the evening –Leadership Training [continued] 18/6 Return to Penang, Malaysia. I was in the Philippines 2 years ago [April 2010]. There were new doors that opened up and new relationship made in this trip. I had the privilege of knowing Pr. Earnest from Manila [Jeremiah 33.3 Church ] and Pr. Alvin and his wife, Pr. Lauro from Antipolo and many others that I do not remember their names at the time I write this mail. New doors are opening up to train youths and young adults in the Philippines. There is a very important need to train and prepare the new generation of Filipino leaders. In the 1700’s a little man in England, a cobbler by trade, who kept a map of the world on a wall of his workshop so that he could pray for the nations of the world, became burdened for a definite missionary outreach. When he shared his burden at a meeting of ministers, he was told by one of the senior men of God: “Young man, sit down. When God wants to convert the heathen, He will do it without your help or mine.” [Sounds very spiritual]. William Carey was called a foolish, impractical dreamer because he learned foreign languages. Even after he became a minister he was called foolish. But William Carey did not let the fire of his enthusiasm be dampened by such a response, and eventually he left the shores of England for those of India, where he engaged in pioneer missionary work, doing exploits for God. His attacks came from his own people.
If the church and church leadership had stood behind him to send him and support him … [what a great help it would have been?]
If he had listened to his church leaders he would not be able to do God’s Will. And India would be … [Perhaps India will still be in the “stone age” in every area of its life; Perhaps until today widows will be jumping into fire; perhaps there will be still human sacrifice, … ].
Friends out there –Please do not stop dreaming in HIM. Please do not allow the church or the church leadership to hold you back and stop you from fulfilling your destiny in HIM [God’s Purpose].
Choose to obey God and do not allow any men, devil or situation to stop you from doing that.

Matthew 24:9-10 (NKJV) “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.
The “enemy” is planning a systematic attack upon God’s people. They are afraid of us and want to destroy us. They also know that we are scattered. BUT GOD WILL UNITE HIS PEOPLE.
Exodus 17:8-15
Our God is Jehowah Nissi [God our Victory]. He has already given us victory through Jesus the Christ. In order to walk in that victory continually we need to do 3 things.
1] Prayer –We need to look to God in prayer as Moses did. Depend upon HIM. Listen to HIM.
2] Obedience –We need walk in obedience just as Joshua did.
3] Encourage –We need to affirm, encourage, support each other in prayer, words and action as Aaron and Hur did.
Another important thing needs to happen this YEAR.
Exodus 8:1 (NKJV) And the Lord spoke to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Let My people go, that they may serve Me.
In the old days Moses went to Pharaoh according to the instruction of the Lord God and said “Let My people go, that they may serve Me”. Today there is a need for God’s People to be delivered from oppressive lordship. There is a need for men of God and women of God to rise up and tell today’s “Pharaohs” to “Let God’s people go, that they may serve God”.
There are lords of the church that are serving themselves and are controlling and manipulating God’s people to serve them and to serve their projects.
1 Peter 4:17 (NKJV) For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
As Peter has said in his letter the judgment of God has already begun among His People. It has already begun among His leaders. This year we are going to see more and more of this. God loves His Church and He will clean up His leaders first and then the rest of the church.
Therefore let us draw close to HIM who loves us and walk closely with HIM continually.

John 3:16 (NKJV) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
God loved the world that HE GAVE His BEST. HE gave HIS ONLY begotten SON.
To Whom? To a world that was good? NO –While the world was in rebellion that HE Gave.
When the whole world was an enemy of God that HE Gave. He did not wait for us to change our ways. But while we were sinners He gave.
Now we have come into this family and we understand this better. We are no more enemies but His sons. [Women –you too are sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus (Gal 3:26) women and men are sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus]. Sons behave like their Father [like Father like Son]. Our talk and walk are the same.
But not all in the family behave the same way.
The eldest son in the prodigal story of Jesus [Luke 15:11-31] was part of the family but was not behaving like the Father. Why? Most of the time he was in the field, working very hard to earn the Love of The Father. Many are like the eldest son working very hard to earn the Love of The Father. They are not focused on restoration of lives BUT on self. I, ME and MYSELF. [My family, My Church, My Project, My car, My work and My dog] The eldest son was called a son but behaved like an orphan. For example jealousy, selfishness, possessiveness, greed, strive, competitive spirit are found in those who have a orphans mentality. That is why there is so much of competition and comparing among the local churches. This divides the church and brings destruction. Instead of giving away Love that they have received from the Father [including resources- people, finances, teaching and training] they hoard or use for their “own empire” work and projects. Sons have the same heart of the Father. They give. They share. They distribute. They build lives. They rejoice when they see lives are restored. They are responsible. They are active. They Walk and Work together with the Father.
In the OT we see [Joshua 1:12-15] the 2 and ½ tribes who already have their inheritance [was easy for them] crossed over and helped their brethren get their inheritance. This is the way of God. If we belong to the family of God His life flows, His flavor flows, His character flows, His LOVE FLOWS.
We are SONS of GOD. Let us behave like one. The whole world is waiting for the SONS of GOD to be revealed. When they show up they will reveal the FATHER’s Heart very clearly. They WILL bring Restoration. They WILL RESTORE ALL THINGS.
Pray for us and the nations we touch through HIS GRACE.

Dear Friends, thanks for standing with us with your prayers. We thank God for the new territories that were open to us during this trip. I thank God also for bro Paul Ong [who is like Paul the Apostle literally making plastic tents and sells them and preaches the gospel in the nations] who was to me like Barnabas who took Paul the Apostle around and introduced to the churches. New doors of opportunity was opened to me in Bangalore and Mumbai [India] and Nairobi [Kenya]. I thank God for Pastor Paul Timothy who received us in Bangalore and for Major Suresh Pawar [Salvation Army –Mumbai] who received us in Mumbai. I thank God for Bishop George Chege and his wife Margaret for hosting us in their home. Pray together with us for God to cause what has been sown to grow and flourish and bear fruit, much fruit for His Glory.
This coming week is a week of Anniversaries.
23/8/2011 -Vijaya and I are celebrating 36 years of God’s faithfulness upon our lives. Thanks to Pr.LKC for the holiday at Gentings.
25/8/2011 -Marketplace Ministries -Pioneered by shepherds Abraham and Irene Gan are celebrating 16 years of God’s faithfulness upon this ministry.
28/8/2011 -Reservoir Garden Baptist Church [church that we grew up, ministered, and sent out] is celebrating 46 years of God’s faithfulness.

Donkey 1.
Numbers 22:23 (NKJV) 23 Now the donkey saw the Angel of the Lord standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand, and the donkey turned aside out of the way and went into the field. So Balaam struck the donkey to turn her back onto the road.
God let Balaam go with King Balak’s messengers, but he was angry about Balaam’s greedy attitude. Balaam claimed that he would not go against God just for money [He said the right thing] but his resolve was beginning to slip. His greed for the wealth offered by the king blinded him so that he could not see how God was trying to stop him.
Though we may know what God wants us to do, we too can become blinded by our greedy desire for money, possessions, or status. We can avoid Balaam’s mistake by looking past the allure of fame or fortune to the long-range benefits of walking with God.
Balaam’s donkey saw clearly. Balaam’s donkey saved his life but was beaten for that.
The Prophet [blinded by greed] could not see.
Father we pray that you will enable us to see what you see like that Donkey who saw clearly and warned. We desire to warn and save lives. If there is greed, lust and pride in our hearts remove it Lord for it will blur our vision and we will not be able to see like the prophet Balaam.
Donkey 2.
Luke 19:29-31 (NKJV) 29 And it came to pass, when He drew near to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mountain called Olivet, that He sent two of His disciples, 30 saying, “Go into the village opposite you, where as you enter you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Loose it and bring it here. 31 And if anyone asks you, ‘Why are you loosing it?’ thus you shall say to him, ‘Because the Lord has need of it.’ ”
This donkey became useful when released. This donkey carried Jesus into the city so that people can see Jesus and hear Jesus.
Amazing God's power at work through two donkeys.
Father I pray in Jesus Name that you will enable us to carry you like this Donkey to every city, town and village we go to and that the people will see Jesus and hear Jesus through our ministry.
Friends thanks once again for standing with us and sending us. Without you we will not be able to go and minister to the nations. Please pray for Paul Ong and I as we minister in Bangalore, Mumbai [India] and Nairobi [Kenya]. Vijaya will not be travelling with me in this trip.
Pray for our provision, protection and power to minister in all these places. Pray that we will be like the above 2 donkeys

Dear Friends and Partners, we thank you for your love and support that you have shown us all these years. Without God and you, we would not have come this far. Thank you once again. As we realise that the Day of our Lord is at our “door step” we have a responsibility to cross our door step and go to the nations and prepare a people for HIS Coming. Over these years we have come to observe that there are many nations that are very near our “door step” that we cannot deny or ignore.

q How many times do we fail to recognize the Lord because He comes to us in a form we are not used to? If we become comfortable with the Pentecostal form, we will not recognize the Lord if He tries to come to us through a Baptist form. If we become used to the Charismatic form, we will not recognize Him if He tries to come to us as a Pentecostal. The reason for this is spiritual racism. Racism is not just between physical races but against people groups who are different from us, whether the differences are based on actual race, religion, culture, geography, or other factors that make people different.



q America does not need to go to the nations to reach the nations. One of the great missionaries of our time, Bob Weiner, has spent most of his adult life trying to get the church to understand that almost every major nation is represented in the student body of our universities. At one count, sixty of the world’s political leaders had been educated in the United States . Many foreign students are lonely, far from family, friends, and culture, and they are wide open to the gospel. In one poll of foreign students, one of their greatest desires (second only to an education) was for an American friend.



q Both the man who planned the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and the man who commanded the Japanese forces during that attack were educated at an Ivy League School . Both of these men were offended by the racist treatment they received in the United States . How might history have been changed if they had been treated differently? A significant number of Islamic leaders who now call the U.S. “the great Satan” were also educated here. How might our present world be different if we had loved and befriended them while they were in our country? Our future could be greatly impacted if we would repent of our racism and begin to love the foreigners in our midst as we are commanded to do.



Friends, I have observed in my own country Malaysia, with all the efforts made by our prime Minister to unite our nation there are forces that are at work to divide the nation. All though an observation from a distance it looks like there is unity in this nation BUT the fact is that there is a strong under current among the races in Malaysia. One look at the church we might think that it is also united [from far it looks like that] But the facts is it is divided. In order to create a sense of belonging among the different races in the church of Jesus Christ we need to love one another, accept one another, care for one another, and give without any hidden agenda. Give to build the other. We need to give like God gave. God gave His best to a people who rebelled against HIM. Let us follow the example of our God. Let us Give ourselves to the up building of our brothers and sisters [does not matter what race they belong to / whether they are rich or poor / whether they are spiritual or not / black, white, yellow or green] and go further out of “our door step” and start welcoming the nations that have come into our nation and start treating them with dignity. Instead of exploiting them start investing in their lives.



Proverbs 14:31 (NKJV) He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker, But he who honors Him has mercy on the needy.

Proverbs 22:16 (NKJV) He who oppresses the poor to increase his riches, And he who gives to the rich, will surely come to poverty.

Friends, we pray that as an apostolic generation we will not lose sight of Revelation 7:9. That is the “dream” of the Father in heaven and should be the dream of every child of God. We need that same apostolic passion that was in the Son of God to be in us and move us to finish this work with excellence. We need to join our hearts, hands and share the resources that God has released to finish HIS WORK. Let us pray together against this empire building spirit [anti-Christ spirit that is at work within the church]. Much of the resources are wasted in “dead stones”. We should be investing our resources in “living stones” [The people of God and those who are not yet]. We should be using the resources to help send workers to the “field”.

To Ptr. Christopher,


First I want to thank God for allowing you to come here in Keningau. I
believe this is not the will of man but this is His divine plan for you.
For two days and two nights you spoke about the heart of the Father to His
children; The heart of the children to His Father.

You shared about what God wants, it’s not having big building but having
the temple of God (Holy Spirit) in us (People).

You shared about the reason why Jesus came to the world; His priority is
to preach salvation to everyone. Jesus encourages us as a Servant of God
to let the people know about Him (Jesus). Not about an organization nor
the Church building but the Kingdom of God. You also discuss about How we
can become a faithful Servant of The Most High God. I saw in you the
manifestation of a humble Spirit, has fire in your heart. The teaching
that we heard from you is very powerful and uplifting.

We came back after ministering in Surabaya. It was a fruitful and satisfying trip. Vijaya and I were working with the church that was meeting in Onggo’s home.

PRAYER FOR PHILIPPINES (from 22-26/4/2010)

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV) 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Father, I pray in Jesus name for your mercy to come upon Philippines. I admit that there is so much corruption among our leaders; there is violence and lawlessness; the land is defiled by immorality and idolatry; there is injustice. It is getting from bad to worst oh God. Deep darkness has covered the Philippines. Philippines is unhealthy because the church in the Philippines is unhealthy. Please forgive us.

Father, your people who are called by your name to be salt and light in Philippines has rebelled against you. We repent of our sins. We repent of corruption, idolatry, immorality, violence, lawlessness, favoritism, prejudice in Jesus Name. Please forgive us of our sins and come and heal our land. Restore us oh Lord. Once again that we may draw close to you and be seated at your feet and receive from you and work together with you.

Two Malaysia Churches Burned

A spate of firebomb attacks which started midnight has seriously damaged a Malaysian church and mildly damaged another, leaving a third undamaged.

The attacks were carried out on the day Muslim groups planned to hold protests over a recent high court decision which allowed a Catholic newspaper to use the word ‘Allah’ in its Malay-language edition.

The first-floor office of the three-storey Assemblies of God Metro Tabernacle Church was destroyed in a fire around midnight, a spokesman said. The upper floors were not affected and there were no casualties.

A witness spotted four people on two motorcycles breaking the glass front of the church and throwing an incendiary object inside before fleeing, according to Kuala Lumpur police chief Mohamad Sabtu Osman.

He said police have found a wrench, empty gasoline can and two scorched motorcycle helmets at the church, which is located in Desa Melawati, a suburb in KL.

Hours later the Catholic Church of the Assumption in southwest KL was also attacked.

“I was awoken by men riding on motorcycles who threw a kerosene bomb into the church compound,” said parish priest Philip Muthu.

“The bomb lit a fire and damaged part of the compound but it did not burn down the church building,” he said. “I don’t know why they are doing this but this is worrying.”

A third church, also hit by a Molotov cocktail, was not damaged, a church official said.

“We are investigating the matter thoroughly and those responsible will be brought to book,” police chief Musa Hassan told reporters.

“Police will deploy patrol cars to patrol churches in the country. We will investigate the matter thoroughly.”

Malaysia’s Prime Minister Najib Razak has condemned the actions at a press conference, adding that they are destructive to the country’s harmony.

“The government will take whatever steps it can to prevent such acts,” he said.

The high court ruled last week in favour of the Catholic ‘Herald’ newspaper which has been using ‘Allah’ as a translation for ‘God’ in its Malay edition, removing a three-year government ban against non-Muslim usage of the word.

The ruling was suspended on Wednesday pending an appeal after the government argued the decision could cause racial conflict in the Muslim-majority country, which experienced deadly race riots in 1969 and has been seeing tensions between Malays and minority ethnic Chinese and Indians who fear Malaysia is being ‘Islamised.’
