Revelation 7:9-10 (NKJV) 9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
Praise and thanksgiving be to God for your friendship and partnership in the discipling of the nations. Because of your standing with us and sending us to the nations, the sons of God [women too are sons] are being prepared and positioned in strategic places in the nations to influence and impact. It is a great privilege and joy to be part of this equipping team; to pour out into the next generation of leaders and to see them rise up and shine.
It was a joy meeting one of my students [YWAM 2002 in Gowriwakam –Chennai –India] after 10 years in New Delhi heading the Kingdom Life Discipleship Training School. [He is the founder and director of this school which God sowed into his spirit some time ago]. Listening to him and his passion in the Lord Jesus excited me and motivated me further.
As we see the Day of the Lord Jesus, is approaching closer and closer, let us work together to disciple the nations.

SRI LANKA REPORT

Every year He has been extending our borders so that we can bring the Truth that we have received and impart into the up building of church leaders. We thank those who are praying for us faithfully. In the midst of the financial crisis that has hit the Nations there are local churches that has given in to that pressure But I thank God for those who have faithfully and consistently stood by the side of us with their financial support which has helped us to live and travel and minister. May God bless them according to what they have done and according to His character. On the 28/5/2012 Sri Lanka opened its door and I thank God for the woman of peace [Nimali –YWAM leader] who was willing to come to the airport to fetch me and house me in her base and feed me. The next day I traveled to Kandy by train [central of Sri Lanka up on the hills] together with a YWAM team [ 2 men and 8 women (7 nations) from Kona –Hawaii] and was there for 3 days ministering to the church in Pellekele, Hirasagala and Hantana that met in houses seeing at least 1 woman in her late 70’s [blind for 25 years] receiving her sight back. On 1/6/2012 traveled back to Colombo by train [ train broke down –3 hours trip became 4hours trip] with the help of Roshan [ a minister from Kandy] accompanying me. Had the privilege and joy of staying with Pr. Mendis and family and knowing his passion and work. He has 65 churches in Sri Lanka and overseas totaling 125000 members [according to his report]. I ministered in 3 congregations on Sat [1 service] and Sun [2 services] with his sons interpreting for me. Please pray for coming ministry Semerang –Indonesia [12/6 to 18/6/2012] 13/6 -Leadership Training -2 sessions in the morning and 1 session in the evening 14/6 -3 sessions in the morning for Pastors Fellowship [3½ hours from Semerang] -50 leaders expected. 15/6 -in the morning for Pastors Fellowship [1½ from Semerang] 100 leaders are expected. 15/6 -Leadership training continued in Semerang from 6 to 8pm. 16/6 -Leadership training continued in Semerang from 8.30am to 12.30pm 17/6 -Sunday service 7.30am to 10am -in the evening –Leadership Training [continued] 18/6 Return to Penang, Malaysia. John 3:16 (NKJV) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
God loved the world that HE GAVE His BEST. HE gave HIS ONLY begotten SON.
To Whom? To a world that was good? NO –While the world was in rebellion that HE Gave.
When the whole world was an enemy of God that HE Gave. He did not wait for us to change our ways. But while we were sinners He gave.
Now we have come into this family and we understand this better. We are no more enemies but His sons. [Women –you too are sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus (Gal 3:26) women and men are sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus]. Sons behave like their Father [like Father like Son]. Our talk and walk are the same.
But not all in the family behave the same way.
The eldest son in the prodigal story of Jesus [Luke 15:11-31] was part of the family but was not behaving like the Father. Why? Most of the time he was in the field, working very hard to earn the Love of The Father. Many are like the eldest son working very hard to earn the Love of The Father. They are not focused on restoration of lives BUT on self. I, ME and MYSELF. [My family, My Church, My Project, My car, My work and My dog] The eldest son was called a son but behaved like an orphan. For example jealousy, selfishness, possessiveness, greed, strive, competitive spirit are found in those who have a orphans mentality. That is why there is so much of competition and comparing among the local churches. This divides the church and brings destruction. Instead of giving away Love that they have received from the Father [including resources- people, finances, teaching and training] they hoard or use for their “own empire” work and projects. Sons have the same heart of the Father. They give. They share. They distribute. They build lives. They rejoice when they see lives are restored. They are responsible. They are active. They Walk and Work together with the Father.
In the OT we see [Joshua 1:12-15] the 2 and ½ tribes who already have their inheritance [was easy for them] crossed over and helped their brethren get their inheritance. This is the way of God. If we belong to the family of God His life flows, His flavor flows, His character flows, His LOVE FLOWS.
We are SONS of GOD. Let us behave like one. The whole world is waiting for the SONS of GOD to be revealed. When they show up they will reveal the FATHER’s Heart very clearly. They WILL bring Restoration. They WILL RESTORE ALL THINGS.
Pray for us and the nations we touch through HIS GRACE.

Dear Friends, thanks for standing with us with your prayers. We thank God for the new territories that were open to us during this trip. I thank God also for bro Paul Ong [who is like Paul the Apostle literally making plastic tents and sells them and preaches the gospel in the nations] who was to me like Barnabas who took Paul the Apostle around and introduced to the churches. New doors of opportunity was opened to me in Bangalore and Mumbai [India] and Nairobi [Kenya]. When I answered the call of God in June 1988, I resigned [gave the government 24 hours notice and gave them 1 months’ salary] -gave away my [and families medical, travel, retirement benefits. I sold my car [because the church (church was suffering from a poverty mentality) paid a low salary] and have to let go of my house [which I have bought and have not moved in -which was auctioned later]. I gave myself to the work of God and to serving my church. Our daughter who had all the potential to study [she did well in her studies] was not given a chance to go to University because we were serving God. [Any way Sarah is working hard and studying today using her EPF money]. We are still committed to build the people of God and finish the work and go home to be with HIM forever [I long to go home NOW but for the people sake I need to live impart what I have received from above.] If you think this is foolishness then bear with it please.

Dear Friends & Family -Arrived in Kuching this afternoon [19/6/2011] after the one week mission in Sri Aman. Met with a few Iban pastors & leaders just now at Pr Greman's church. Pr Christopher spoke a strong message on unity. Pr Gremen testified a confirmation from his recent participation in a conference in Hong Kong where a key word from the Lord: "With unity comes authority. Disunity creates leakages that undermine this authority of the people of God. He also illustrated from the recent events in Sarawak where the Pastors' Fellowships in the different towns have all now banded into one: The Sarawak Ministers' Fellowship.

During our one week in Sri Aman, the Lord has answered our prayers and brought several "man of peace" - families, churches, and longhouses to welcome us and to partner us in this new mission to see God bring transformation especially in the socio-economic well-being of the Iban community in Sri Aman.

Derrick & Paula, both teachers have opened their home for the first time to host some of the team members. Louis & Girin invited us to their home & several-acre farm to pray for victory in a land dispute tussle. Several families from the Anglican fellowship and the Baptist church came together in a home meeting to hear the teaching of the team. In the Sebujok Longhouse, we visited the women's farm project. At the Bakong Longhouse we were impressed to know there is a traditional Iban instrumental band.

In all the different meetings, both young & old were joyfully inspired by the effective preaching of Pastor Christopher. Nigel ministered strongly one on one also among the younger people. Agnes spent many days preparing for her baking demonstration for a good group of ladies in the hope that some may take up baking to supplement their income. Irene & I were largely in the background collecting data and stories and networking with key leaders and families.

The Lord has directed our focus to concentrate our mission first among believers who are already engaged in some socio-economic enterprises like the couple, Gimmy & Mariana who runs a seafood stall, Nensa who is starting a preschool next year. We also hear of many needy solo mums and widows who have been devastated by the sudden passing of their spouse or husbands who have remarried into another faith. Kiau, a sister who runs a vege stall & owns a lorry for hire is mother to 7 kids, three of her own, two kids left by a relative and two other kids from a widow.

The Lord has given us some keys and we have started to initiate some small efforts to assist these believers in Sri Aman.

We are proposing to return to Sri Aman in mid August to go further in understanding the community and its people and to bring more tangible help. We appreciate your prayers. If you are led of the Lord to join in one of our coming mission to Sri Aman, do let us know.

Urgency

Dear Church of Indonesia,
This morning while praying felt an urgency again. There is a need for a People to be Prepared for the coming of the Lord. I desire to do the below ministry and prepare teams that will cover the land of Indonesia. That will travel to the North, South, East and West and bring the healing of God [relational, emotional and physical healing]. God wants to bring His healing to the families, churches and the nations. I am willing to help train the team and give the materials for them to use. All I need from you is to pray and move and gather the people and arrange the camp. Why camp? So that they will not be distracted and can devote 3 days for receiving ministry. When they can receive it they can also give it away.
Many soldiers are struggling in the battle field to fight a good fight. Generals [those in the fivefold ministry] are also soldiers who need to lead by example and fight a good fight but are dragging their feet in the battle because of wounds that they have been carrying from childhood. The church has put an unrealistic expectation upon church leaders to perform. God has raised me up and has sent me to the nations to prepare a people especially Church Leaders for this end time. Encourage the leaders in Indonesia whom you have found favor with to take the lead to come and experience the Love of the Father and receive their healing and be delivered from those areas that they have been struggling for many years while in the ministry. There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. The Father desires to Love you and Heal you and Send you with His authority and power just as He sent His Son, Jesus the Christ to represent HIM accurately.

Dear Friends and partners in the work of God, greetings in Jesus Name. We just came back from Surabaya –Indonesia. [3/5 to 10/5/2011].

We were ministering to Onggo’s community in Surabaya on 4th, 5th and 7th night and the theme was “Life imparting Life”. Following the example of the Father and His Son we need to send out our workers [those who are being discipled with authority and power] to make disciples in the marketplace.

On the 8th early morning our team from Surabaya drove to Pare about 4 hours away to minister to the church during their Sunday Service. After the service Onggo [ 34 years old- a Pastor, Restaurant Manager, and a multimedia man] was teaching entrepreneurs how to do business God’s Way. His “Koperasi” gives out micro loans to the villagers who are part of the church in Pare to help them with their businesses. In the future [he has also done it in the past] he will be giving out micro loans to those who do not know the Lord yet to help build them. He does not have a house and car of his own but he is helping others to rise up. His community is also following his example. This is the words he shared with me when I asked him whether he sold his house and used the money to help others.

John 15:13 (NKJV) Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

This is what God said to him and he is willingly doing it. Praise be to God for such pastors who are truly shepherds of God’s people. Please pray together with us for pastors everywhere to follow the example of brother Onggo and become relevant to their nation.

If churches work together and adopt villages and small towns, and help them to develop physically [health, roads, water, electricity …], economically [create jobs, help start business, help children in their studies…] emotionally [teaching them values], they can touch them spiritually and become relevant to their community and nations.

Money and Ministry

Money and Ministry

The relationship between money and ministry is very sensitive. Let's look at a few issues:

Lordship
We never do anything in the ministry for the sake of getting money. Yeshua said, "You cannot serve God and Mammon" – Matthew 6:24. Of course we need money for the work of the Lord, and God knows that. He will provide. We are never to worry (Matthew 6:25). Yet the motives we have for serving the Lord are not to make a profit.

Not Merchandising
Therefore we are not to treat the word of God and the anointing of the Holy Spirit as a product to be marketed. It is not merchandise. "We are not like many who make commerce of the word of God" – II Corinthians 2:17. We are to be good stewards and act as responsible business professionals in the manner of our work, yet we are not to see the power of God as something to be sold. "Your money perish with you, for you thought to buy the gift of God with money" – Acts 8:20. The subtle ability to manipulate manifestations of God's grace as a trick to bring in donations is evil at its root (I Timothy 6:10).

Faith to Give
As we grow in faith, God teaches us to trust Him to be able to give more and more to help others. Yeshua purposely placed His disciples in a test. There were 5,000 men, in addition to women and children, in attendance. The people needed food. Yeshua said to His disciples, "You give them to eat" – Matthew 14:16. God demanded of them to change their identity from a taker to a giver, from being a needy person to being a supplier of needs. There is supernatural provision in faith.

Recently I felt God limiting my faith to be able to provide for the needs of our ministry. He wanted our staff and team members to grow in faith. After prayer, I told them, "Now you will begin to have faith to give and provide." This is part of discipleship. As we learn to give, God will provide. After the disciples fed the 5,000, Yeshua told them to gather all the crumbs. There were 12 baskets left over – enough for one basket to each disciple. God's economy is lavish in giving, yet frugal in expenses.

Paying Taxes
Paying taxes to the government is very costly and sometimes seems to be a waste of God's money. However, we are instructed to pay taxes as part of our faith in God (Romans 13:6). The tax services are not bothered by the fact that a person receives a lot of money. Quite the contrary – they just want their percentage of the income.

Yeshua instructed Peter to receive a supernatural supply of money to pay the religious tax on the Temple by taking money out of a fish's mouth (Matthew 17:27). He also instructed all the people to pay the secular tax to the government. "Give unto Caesar what is Caesar's; and unto God what is God's" – Matthew 22:21. We have to distinguish between God and Caesar. Those who have money are not necessarily more spiritual. On the other hand, we can't over-spiritualize money. We have to pay bills; and we have to pay taxes. The rabbis have an expression, "Without bread (flour), there is no Torah; and without Torah, there is no bread" – Pirke Avot 3.

Keeping Records
There were moments in history of revival and abundance, where keeping records of every expense was not necessary (II Kings 22:7). However in our world today, there is much suspicion and much financial pressure. We have to be diligent in keeping records correctly. The process of keeping records is what demonstrates integrity. "That no one should blame us in these great donations, which are administered by us. We have determined to act with integrity, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men" - II Corinthians 8:20-21. We purpose to show our morality, not just before God, but also toward men.

Don't Be Offended
One of the reasons that Judas betrayed Yeshua was that he saw Miriam of Bethany pour expensive perfume on Yeshua. He thought it was wasteful. He was offended (and was also stealing money himself). This offense triggered his betrayal (Matthew 26:14). Don't let yourself fall into the same trap.

Don't Compare
Comparing salaries and benefits can cause jealousy and anger. "Why does that person receive more than I do? I work harder than he does." Yeshua addressed this issue in the parable of the hired workers. Some worked longer hours. They expected more money. They were offended that they did not receive more. Yeshua answered, "Friend, I did not wrong you. Did you not agree to work for one denarius? Do I not have the right to do with my own money what I want? Are you envious because I am generous?" – Matthew 20:13, 15. The attitude that "I deserve this" is not appropriate when employed in service to the Lord. What we have is by His grace. One aspect of repentance is to be satisfied with one's earnings (Luke 3:14).

Wealth of the Nations
There are amazing promises of prosperity in the Bible. There are even prophecies that the "wealth of the nations" will come to us (Isaiah 60:5; 60:9; 60:11; 60:16; 61:6; Zechariah 14:14). Why would God want to bring us the wealth of the nations? It is not for us to live in luxury. The wealth of the nations will come to us in order to bring the gospel to the nations. Our motivation is not to GET the wealth of the nations, but to USE it. We desire not to take money from them but to give salvation to them. We need to enlarge our faith for giving, our faith for receiving, and our faith for the kingdom of God.

Dear Friends,

Thank you for praying for us while we were in North Thailand. We saw the hand of God in our journey and ministry. We thank God for His protection from what could have been a serious accident while I was driving from Chieng Mai to Nan Province. We thank God for preparing the heart of the Pastors and Churches to receive the Word we brought. One leader commented during evaluation time: “It was sharp and piercing but we like it”.

This was not a compliment but it is biblical.



Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV) 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.



Even when truth is brought with love, it is sharp and piercing. Because it is God’s Word. Because it desires to go deep. Because it wants to bring change.



Nan Province



Praphan [my friend and interpreter (writer, teacher of the Word, man of many talents)], Somchai , Berm [Praphan’s disciples], Vijaya and I travelled by road about 5 hours to this province. We were ministering in this 3 days meeting organised by the Evangelical Fellowship of Thailand. Spoke to them the first night on rising up and fulfilling their God given destiny to be a “Prophetic Generation”. To call out what should be there in Thailand. To call out what God is calling out in Thailand. On the second morning I spoke on “God’s Work must be done in God’s Way”. And at night spoke on the Hour [Midnight Hour] we live in and what is going to happen and what is God going to do and what we should be doing. Next and last morning in Nan Province spoke on Developing the Body of Christ with all the resources God has given us.



Nakhon Thai Province



We drove again another 5 hours south to Nakhon Thai. On the 25th I had fever and a bad cold.



26/3 and 27/3/2010 mornings I taught them on Divine Guidance.

26/3 night -spoke on the Hour [Midnight Hour] we live in and what is going to happen and what is God going to do and what we should be doing.

27/3 night – spoke on “God’s Work must be done in God’s Way”.

28/3 morning service spoke on “Wise people seek Jesus and worship HIM”.

Taught also the congregation about Christmas and its connection to idolatry.

Returned to Penang, Malaysia on 30/3/2010. I passed the flu to Vijaya. We are both recovering from flu. Thanks for your prayers.
