of Christ,

and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw
down, To build and to plant.”
Ephesians 4:15 (NKJV) but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who
is the head—Christ
Friends, at a
time when not only our nation but many nations are in crisis, let us Arise and
Shine as are called to
Isaiah 60:1-2 (NKJV) Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory
of the Lord is risen upon you.
2 For
behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But
the Lord will arise over you, And
His glory will be seen upon you.
Economy is
crushing, prices are rising BUT what about you’re giving? Has your giving
risen? Local church leadership encourages their members to give and to give
their best. Has the giving of your church to missions, to visiting ministers
[whether local or foreign] increased? For example in Malaysia, local churches
give an honorarium of RM100, some RM150 and some RM200 for visiting speakers.
Very, very few give an honorarium of RM500. Some over the years have dropped
from RM500 to RM300; some from RM300 to RM150; reason could be either the
church has shrunk or because of the “deep darkness” church members are giving
less. Remember: God wants you to take care of God’s workers not just church
staffs. Ask yourself this question: from 2002 until 2012 has your giving risen?
Why not? Is it possible because of your church policies your giving has been the
same? If you focused on the Word of God your giving would have risen. Obeying
God’s Word is more important than church policy. I pray that there will be a
breakthrough in the area of giving in the local churches this year.
Friends we
thank those who have stood by us in prayer and their giving. Pray that more
will come alongside us to not only pray but with their giving. We are
especially praying for God’s People to help us go to India [Kerala, Delhi,
Andra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu] in August and Sept this year –This trip is to
bless the local churches and training schools in different states in India. Who
will send us? We will buy the airticket only when the amount comes in.
